In 2012 four Catalan basketmakers - Joan Farre, Monica Guilera, Josep Mercader, Carles Alcoy and English artist and basketmaker Tim Johnson made their first collaborative project in the village of Mas de Barberans in southern Catalonia, Spain.
Now in it's fifth year the RAFAL company is available for sculpture projects, installations, education projects and public events in Spain and internationally. Each year we host internationally recognised artists and makers as project guests and enjoy the creative challenges and rewards that our projects bring.
